The Basque Country is located in the north of Spain, at the foot of the Pyrenees mountains where they’ve been located for centuries. They have a unique culture, different from other parts of Spain or France. They are community based, so they spend a great deal of time with family, friends, and co-workers.
The Basque people are considered an Unreached People Group, which means less than 2% of them would self-identify as an evangelical, or non-Catholic, Christian. They are a secular culture with a clearly defined idea of what it means to be Basque. They are proud of their unique heritage and culture and pride themselves on being strong and independent.
Our Strategy and Initiatives

Community Investment
Community outreach such as support programs and mentoring, along with discipleship and Bible studies.
Leadership Development
Investing in local pastoral and lay leadership to equip and develop those leaders to more effectively execute their mission of reaching the people in their own community.
Strategic Prayer
Strategic prayer efforts seek to break down spiritual strongholds that prevent the gospel from penetrating the hearts and minds of the people.
Cultural Exchange
Facilitating opportunities for education and building cross-cultural relationships through international trips focusing on improving English language skills and learning about a new culture.
